When you order service, you should receive an email containing a username and password (likely what linked you here). Go to the dashboard website at irl.run and login with those credentials. It is recommended that you perform initial server set up from a PC or laptop.
Note: Username and/or password may be different from the credentials you created when purchasing the server, and can be changed
Once logged in, you should see a screen like this
The remote server is currently shutdown. Click [Start Server] and wait 2-3 minutes as it spins up.
Note: If the server is turned on but not streaming and remains idle for longer than 15 minutes, it will automatically shut down and require spinning up again. Streaming or interacting with the Remote OBS will keep it online.
When the server is ready you should see a screen similar to this.
Ingest
, Ingest Low-bitrate
, and Ingest Offline
.Each of these panes can be collapsed or expanded by clicking on the header.
At the top, click Settings then Destinations
If this is your first time configuring the server, you can also click the banner at the top of the dashboard
If you plan on streaming to Twitch, click the [Twitch] button on the left side and authorize IRLToolkit to retrieve the stream key from your account.
For all other RTMP destinations click [Custom RTMP] and enter the Server URL and Stream Key.
Verify that your desired destination is highlighted in green indicating it is the current destination, otherwise click the button.
At the top, click Settings then System
Here you will be able to set thresholds for the auto-switching system or disable it altogether.
You can also have the IRLToolkit Twitch chat bot join your Twitch channel to receive commands and report scene changes or other status messages to chat.
A complete list of chat commands can be found here.
Below this you will find the IRLToolkit ingest URLs and your personal stream keys. Keep this private.
You will need these to configure your streaming device of choice.
